Planning started in 2001 collaboratively between Gritman Medical Center and several physicians in our community.
- Mutual focus on how an Ambulatory Surgery Center would strengthen the healthcare services available to the people of our community.
- Board of Directors formed.
- Ground breaking Fall 2003.
- Operational planning started January 2004.
- Staff hired April 2004.
- First surgery took place May 10, 2004.
- Medicare certification was obtained on June 7, 2004.
- Several primary insurance contracts have been negotiated and signed.
